CSEI provided comprehensive MEP/FP design services for Primo Hoagies' inaugural Gainesville location, located within the newly constructed Hyatt Place in Downtown Gainesville. This project was part of a concurrent effort to design four Primo Hoagies locations across Florida.

Our work included extending the existing HVAC systems to accommodate new suites, with new duct systems as needed. We coordinated the installation of a new exhaust hood for Primo Hoagies, determining the optimal routing for exhaust ducts during the design phase.

Additionally, we extended the electrical power from the building's infrastructure to meet the general and equipment power needs of the new location. Energy-efficient LED lighting systems were installed throughout both suites, and we adjusted existing data, AV, and fire alarm systems to align with the proposed buildouts.

Plumbing systems were also extended to support new tenant fixtures, including restrooms and kitchen areas. Kitchen fixtures were connected to existing shell grease waste piping, assuming the presence of a grease trap installed during the shell phase. Existing fire protection systems were reconfigured to ensure continued coverage alongside the interior renovations.
