UF Nuclear Science Building iClassroom

Gainesville, Florida

The Problem:

UF’s Nuclear Engineering program sought to create a prototype space for a more modern, collaborative, and team-based approach to classroom instruction, but in an older space with antiquated systems.

Our Solution:

Working very closely with our Architect, CSEI sought any and all opportunities to add unique features and sleek, modern aesthetics while converting the existing systems to function for this new technology-heavy space within a minimal MEP budget.

The CSEI DIfference:

Though our “client” was the project Architect, we have a long history with UF College of Engineering, the project CM, and all subcontractors.  We utilized a collaborative, design-build approach that leveraged ideas and input from all parties to optimize the budget for a stunning visual transformation while not sacrificing upgrade to the MEP systems.
